OUR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WAS INITIALLY REGISTERED IN THE USA SINCE OUR FOUNDER / PRESIDENT SETTLED IN FLORIDA SINCE 2002, SHE CONTINUED TO DIRECT AND LEAD THE ENTIRE PROCESS IN BOTH COUNTRIES: COLOMBIA AND USA.
Wanting to expand our borders and make our mission known to the Anglo-Saxon community, the DBA of Extending a Hand Foundation was registered and, since many people and corporations from the United States have joined to support our programs and projects, our foundation also carries different activities to support vulnerable communities in Florida, such as:
FARMWORKERS ASSOCIATION IN IMMOKALEE, FLORIDA
December 15, 2017 | Support after Hurricane Irma
This is a region of Florida where there are a lot of female farmworkers head of household. After Hurricane Irma the region was totally devastated not only materially but emotionally. Our foundation celebrated a Christmas Party for affected children and families on December 15, 2017 where they received many gifts, clothes, shoes, toys and, above all, much love through games and activities.

Once again our foundation visited this region bringing love and joy for Christmas to children and adults with gifts, fun and snacks.
TOYS FOR EVERYONE, FLORIDA
January 15, 2017 & January 19, 2020
In support of the initiative of TV Azteca 48-the Florida television channel- together with other foundations, 1,009 families, from very low resources, were benefited and 1,800 children received gifts and "Backpacks of Love" in addition to enjoying a great day of entertainment at the WPB Zoo. This event was so successful that on 2020 the alliance was made again to bring joy to many more families.

Such pride and privilege of the magnificent work that our youngest Volunteer Tina Tring is doing by donating a scholarship on behalf of Extending a Hand Foundation!
With the help of George Snow Scholarship Fund and Extending a Hand Foundation / Fundación Una Mano Amiga, I have had the opportunity to pay it forward and create my own scholarship that will be awarded to a deserving student.
Being a college student myself, I need help raising funds for the scholarship. Please donate and share, with your help we WILL impact a student's life.
